FAQ

How do I book a photo-shoot?

In order to book a photo session, please contact me directly to book the required date.

I highly recommend to book a photoshoot at least 2-3 weeks in advance. So we can plan it all. To reserve your day and time, the client provides CAD100 of a non-refundable retainer fee.

The client books and pays for the studio independently, as the studio is a separate business.

What is included in your photo packages?

Each photo package varies in terms of session length, lighting conditions and the number of edited photos clients can expect to receive. Please see the packages details through the LINK.

What can I expect during a photo session with you?

During a photo session, I will guide you through the process and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will provide posing direction and suggestions for outfits and accessories. I will take a range of photos to capture your personality and style.

How long will it take to receive my edited photos?

My typical turnaround time is three weeks.

Do you have a Make up artist in your team?

Yes, I work with great specialists who will professionally prepare you for the photosession. As soon as we fix the session date, I will share the contacts of MUA with you.

Will you help me to choose outfits?

For a stylish and professional image, I highly recommend taking the services of a stylist who will help you choose not only a stylish outfit, but an outfit that suits you the best. I will be glad to share the contact with excellent professionals.

However I also offer a small guidebook prepared by me “What To Wear For a Photoshot". It contains ideas and recommendations from my photography experience. I will send it after I have settled the date of the photo and received the fee.

Which studio to choose? Is the studio included in the price?

No, studio is not included in the price. The client books and pays for the studio independently, as the studio is a separate business.

Toronto has numerous cool studios with designs. I share a list of my favourites. You may browse it and choose the one you like the most:

- mildstudios (my clients receiving 10% off, ask for promo code)
mintroom
solatelierstudio
lovtstudio
casabona

Who pick out the photos?

During the session , I take a lot of photos in order to capture real emotions and live movements. After our photoshot, I review the whole session and I choose a few tens of the best photos in my professional opinion. I send the selected photos to the client through the online gallery, where you can choose the final favourite photos for further post production.

Can I order more edited photos?

Absolutely yes. You are very welcome to order more pictures for additional cost for post-production.

Can I order a stretched canva with my photo on it?

Yes, definitely. Let me know and I'll give you more details.

OMG. I don’t know how to pose!

No worries. I help and lead by posing during the photo shoot. Before the session, I recommend to watch a short video guide on posing:

Natural Light vs Studio Light - What is the difference and what is best for me?

Through the LINK, I explain in detail the pros and cons of each lighting option.  I give an example for which the types of photoshoots this or that type of light are appropriate. You will understand which one is best for you.

Hey Uli, I am in! How to start preparation?

After discussing the purpose of the session, the desired outfit and your expectations, I will ask you to send me photo references. This may be pictures from my portfolio or your own saved pictures.  I get the visualization of your perfect photo shoot.  Based on this, I'm going to prep a mood-board for our photo shoot.

Why is the mood-board important?

The mood-board contains the key elements: the poses, the style, the light and the image that inspires us during filming. This allows us to achieve the best possible result and enjoy the process during the  photo shoot.
